Support Groups

Sexual Assault

A confidential sexual assault support group allows members to be heard and understood as well as encourages development of empowerment skills.  It enables members to see that they are not alone and, in turn, feel increasingly safe and capable of working on issues relating to their own experience.

A group is held by Rose Knouse at our Mifflin County office every Monday evening starting at 7 p.m.

Domestic Violence

A group is held by Marcía Phillips at our Mifflin County Office every Monday evening starting at 7 p.m.

A group is held by Beth Birch at our Juniata County Office every Tuesday evening starting at 6 p.m.

Children

Individual or group peer counseling is available to children and teens between the ages of 4 and 18.  Structured activities provide children with the tools they need to help them identify their feelings, build self-esteem, and learn to say "no" to poor choices.
